Every year, Southlake Style has an impressive Women in Business section. This year, our Senior Managing Attorney and Member, Constance Mims was featured.
Read her thoughts here:
The best advice I’ve ever received was Read everything before signing … seriously … in its entirety!
I’m most proud of my Family, that is to say, my Husband, my son, my step-children whom I love as if they were my own, and my grandchildren.
My business is set apart by our commitment to excellence, integrity and the highest ethical standards.
My biggest motivator(s) is/are my family, friends, co-workers and clients; I strive to help everyone in my life achieve their goals.
The greatest challenge I overcame was working, caring for a family and completing undergrad and law school all at the same time.
When not at work, you’ll find me with my family!
My most rewarding moment was: I cannot point to my most rewarding moment; My entire life is a serious of rewarding moments that has been such a blessing; I cannot thank God enough.
I believe young women should never give up on their dreams, but make sure their dreams are their own; not what everyone else expects of them.
My greatest source of inspiration is my family; they warm my heart and they give me a reason to do everything I do as a family law attorney.
My mantra is anything less than extraordinary is a waste of my time (I heard it on a move a very long time ago, and it has been my mantra ever since).
I’m proud to pay it forward by living up to the old adage “each one teach one”; I try to pass on every bit of knowledge I have on every subject to everyone I can help.
