Beal Law Firm Senior Managing Attorney and Member, Constance Mims, Featured in Women in Business

November 6, 2018

Every year, Southlake Style has an impressive Women in Business section. This year, our Senior Managing Attorney and Member, Constance Mims was featured.

Read her thoughts here:

  1. The best advice I’ve ever received was Read everything before signing … seriously … in its entirety!

  2. I’m most proud of my Family, that is to say, my Husband, my son, my step-children whom I love as if they were my own, and my grandchildren.

  3. My business is set apart by our commitment to excellence, integrity and the highest ethical standards.

  4. My biggest motivator(s) is/are my family, friends, co-workers and clients; I strive to help everyone in my life achieve their goals.

  5. The greatest challenge I overcame was working, caring for a family and completing undergrad and law school all at the same time.

  6. When not at work, you’ll find me with my family!

  7. My most rewarding moment was: I cannot point to my most rewarding moment; My entire life is a serious of rewarding moments that has been such a blessing; I cannot thank God enough.

  8. I believe young women should never give up on their dreams, but make sure their dreams are their own; not what everyone else expects of them.

  9. My greatest source of inspiration is my family; they warm my heart and they give me a reason to do everything I do as a family law attorney.

  10. My mantra is anything less than extraordinary is a waste of my time (I heard it on a move a very long time ago, and it has been my mantra ever since).

  11. I’m proud to pay it forward by living up to the old adage “each one teach one”; I try to pass on every bit of knowledge I have on every subject to everyone I can help.

  12. How long have you been in business? I have been a practicing attorney since my licensure in 2007.

  13. Education/Professional Credentials you would like listed? I am a 2002 graduate of Texas Christian University (“Go Frogs”) and a 2007 graduate of Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, which is now known as Texas A&M University School of Law. I am Board Certified in Family by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  With my experience as a paralegal, I have been practicing family law for over 13 years.

Thank you for everything you do, Constance, for Beal Law Firm, all of its clients, and the community!
