Timothy Alexander

Senior Associate Attorney

"Working at a general practice law firm to start my legal career allowed me to gain experience in numerous areas of law.  Through this, I was able to discover the area of law I am truly passionate about – family law.

I enjoy being a family law attorney because it provides an opportunity to assist clients during an important and difficult period of their life."

Tim Alexander

Timothy joined the Beal Law Firm in October 2016.   Prior to this, Timothy worked at a general practice law firm where he first chaired contested temporary orders hearings, mediations, and a jury trial.

Timothy grew up in the Grapevine-Colleyville area, and he obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas with honors.  During his time at UNT, he served as President for both Kappa Sigma Fraternity and the Sports Marketing Association and was a member of the traveling moot court team.

Timothy attended law school at the University of Arkansas School of Law where he graduated magna cum laude and excelled in all areas of advocacy.  Based on his performances in various school competitions, Timothy was selected to represent his law school in numerous regional competitions as a member of the negotiations, trial, and baseball arbitration teams.

During his time at Arkansas, he served as President for both the Criminal Law Society and the Sports & Entertainment Law Society.  Additionally, Timothy was a research assistant for two professors, a Note and Comment Editor for the Journal of Food Law & Policy, and a student attorney for the Life Without Parole Legal Clinic.  He also traveled abroad for a summer to study law at the University of Cambridge and run with the bulls in Pamplona.

Outside of the office, Timothy is an avid football fan (both European and American) and enjoys supporting his teams: Tottenham Hotspur and the Dallas Cowboys.  He is a co-host on the Hotspur America podcast and a co-chairman of the Official Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Club for Dallas.  Timothy enjoys spending his weekends relaxing, barbecuing, watching sports, struggling with his newly found hobby of golf, and most importantly spending time with his wife Amanda and their daughter McKenna.
