Andy Oostdyk joined the Beal Law Firm team after more than eighteen years of experience as a practicing attorney, focusing in family law and bankruptcy.
 

Based in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex throughout his career, Andy is adept at building trust, establishing confidence, and executing complex strategies and resolutions for his clients. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas in 2005, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.
 

Throughout his career, Andy has gained valuable experience and achieved numerous professional highlights. Prior to joining BLF, Andy was a Trial Attorney and partner at MartinOostdyk, PLLC in Fort Worth, Texas, where he primarily handled family law cases. His responsibilities include counseling clients in matters of divorce, child custody, child support, enforcement, and related issues. He also provides client consultations, onboarding, and drafting of pleadings and orders. Andy has extensive courtroom experience, including temporary orders, final trials, IV-D matters, and mediations.
 

During his time at SMU Dedman School of Law, Andy was part of the Tax Clinic, where he contributed to ongoing cases adjudicated with the Internal Revenue Service. Andy is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice in the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and the Northern District of Texas.
