Associate Attorney

John P. Denke is an experienced Texas attorney whose practice has included family law, civil litigation, estate-related matters, criminal law, real-estate transactions, and tax-resolution work. His broad background gives him a practical, detail-oriented perspective when helping clients navigate the financial, procedural, and personal issues that often arise in divorce, custody, and other family-law matters.

John has devoted significant portions of his legal career to family law. He previously handled family-law matters at C.W. Martin Law, PLLC, and Neal Ashmore Family Law Group, where his work included drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, agreements, final decrees, and appellate materials; negotiating with opposing counsel and third parties; advising clients throughout their cases; and supervising support staff. He has represented clients in hearings and trials, including both bench and jury proceedings.

Earlier in his career, John owned and operated his own law practice, where he handled family-law litigation as well as criminal and traffic matters. That experience reinforced his ability to take ownership of a case, communicate directly with clients, prepare thoroughly for court, and pursue practical solutions when possible.

John’s more recent tax-resolution and compliance work has further developed his ability to analyze complicated financial information, work with government agencies, and identify effective solutions for clients facing difficult financial circumstances. That financial background is particularly valuable in family-law matters involving property division, support issues, business interests, or other complex financial questions.

John earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans, where he also completed a Civil Law Certificate. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of North Texas. He is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and the United States Tax Court.
